I have a client that has purchased a Caboose who will be renovating it into an Airbnb. The carrier that will write the permanent coverage on it once it's an Airbnb, is requiring the Caboose to have a builders risk during renovation, otherwise, they won't insure it. I have contacted the following MGA's and all of them stated they have no market for a builders risk (Burns & Wilcox, Tapco, CRC and Jackson Sumner & Assocs.). The Caboose will be located in North Carolina. Any suggestions?
