National Indemnity / Columbia insurance company can be accessed through brokers such as Ringwalt & Lieche or Northern States. We have also used Redwood Fire by going direct to BHHC. The pricing is usually comparable and expensive. If you place coverage with Columbia (for example) and later want to move it to Redwood Fire, or if a competitor has coverage with Redwood Fire and you want to quote NICO, you will not be allowed to do so. BHHC will not allow one sister company to compete against another sister company.
