Ask Your Peers Hard to Place /Multi State Work Comp - Solar Install On Roofs

Have a client that is hard to place. Here is what is going on:
1) In business 4 years, only had work comp in Texas since 08/2018 when they hired a number of employees and expanded operations. No claims however
2) They have received a contract to install solar panels and equipment of commercial building roof tops (No more that 50') in many states across the US. This is tremendous growth and are working to be sure of safely needs are met (Roof classification?)
3) Estimated annual premium is ~$300,000 if all states are included.
4) This has been heavily marketed and have received nothing but declines. Is there a high risk carrier out there willing to take a chance on these guys and offer coverage? We need something pretty quick if possible.

Hi Adam…. yes we can write this risk in our Professional Employer Organization (PEO) or Employer Of Record (EOR) program ……..both PEO/EOR require to be the employer of record.

PEO and EOR programs are very similar. Under a PEO arrangement, the risk's workforce become co-employed by the risk and the PEO are covered for WC under a master WC policy in the name of the PEO. The risks name appears in the insured box on the COIs. Under a EOR arrangement, the risks workforce become sole employees of the EOR and are covered under a master WC policy in the name of the EOR. The risks name appears in the description box on the COIs. If this can work, please send submission incl curr/renewal policy dec/rating pages. to [email protected] and/or call me 954-554-3456.

NES has been providing alternative Workers' Compensation programs for tough to place

risks including Staffing for 25 years and currently has over $600 million in payroll in these programs. Commissions to agents/brokers on all programs are competitive and renewable.

Hi Adam,

Thank you for using CompleteMarkets!

I'm happy to let you know that I did a market search based on the information you provided and I was able to find 3 companies that we work with that have markets for hard-to-place Workers Compensation in multiple states.

Please Click Here to fill out a short multi-submit contact form, you only need to fill this out once and it will be sent to each company. Below is a list of items that you need to attach in the submission, this helps the Underwriters with the quoting process.

1. Completed Acord 130 Application
2. 3 Most Recent Years of Currently Valued Loss Runs
3. Copy of Current Experience Mod Worksheet
4. Target Premium

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need help with anything.
