I have a client that is having a small wedding reception (approximately 50 guests) in California. The City and County is asking for $1M/$2M limits. Most brokers I have asked have a minimum premium of $300-$750, that’s too high for a small/short wedding. Can anyone help me find someone that can cover this for lower than $300MP?

There is one market that I know of and they are in California. It is called Abacus, please contact the following person so you can have access to quoting. The last one I did for a Florida wedding was $256.00, not much less than the $300 but much better than $500 or $750!! Have the insured check with his/her homeowners insurance, as it may be covered there, liability and gifts. Pair that with an umbrella and you should have your client covered without spending much money. They may even have the coverage now and not know it.

The Insured can go direct through WedSafe - https://www.wedsafe.com for around $175.
