The Wedge Group  Late Start for Golf Season 

Do you want to start the Golf season now and just can’t seem to find an open course?

The cold, snowy and rainy weather that has become the start of spring in the Plains and Upper Midwest has caused delayed openings for some golf courses.  The Pine Valley Golf Course, located in Marathon, Wis., opened for the season on April 26.  "This year's opening was our latest opening ever," said Ryan Wendorf, Pine Valley's Head Golf Professional.

It seems as though many courses have been delayed in opening this season due to the weather.  With that being said, a recorded message at the Erin Hills Golf Resort in Erin, Wis., stated they will open for the season on Thursday, May 9.  Hopefully this is a sign most should be open soon.
