Do you have access to a "named operator" or "named non owner" option? Progressive and Dairyland do it for us here in AZ. Dairyland does 1 month policies too. That would cover the driver's liability in any vehicle. It'd be wise to get the rental company's "vehicle insurance" in case vehicle is damaged.
