Scott Addis serves as the President and CEO of The Addis Group and Addis Intellectual Capital, LLC. The Addis Group was founded on Scott’s Beyond Insurance principles 17 years ago, and has evolved into a juggernaut in the industry with more than 1,700 clients, total premiums in excess of $145,000,000 and revenues of over $14,000,000. Scott has personally developed a book of business in excess of $9,000,000 in revenue using the Beyond Insurance process. Prior to starting the Addis Group in 1990, Scott served as vice president and senior account manager for Johnson & Higgins (now Marsh USA). While there, Scott handled insurance placement for some of Philadelphia’s most prestigious companies and institutions including Comcast Corp., Aqua America, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, Lukens Steel and U.S. Healthcare. Scott also played a key role in the growth of Johnson & Higgins middle market division. In 1990, he decided to strike out on his own and formed The Addis Group. No clients. No carriers. No revenue. Only a $50,000 credit line and a vision of providing elite risk management services to the middle-market business segment. The company was truly built from scratch.
