Affinity Nonprofits ASAE-Endorsed Association Business Insurance Portfolio - Custom Solutions for Nonprofit Trade & Professional Associations
Affinity Nonprofits has provided specialized insurance solutions to nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes for more than three decades. Over 5,000 of our nonprofit clients are trade and professional associations. We currently provide a portfolio of exclusive insurance products for this segment endorsed by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
Directors' & Officers' Liability (D&O)
The flagship product of the Affinity Nonprofits ASAE-endorsed association business insurance portfolio is D&O coverage. It provides a good example of how we've worked with industry leaders to create an insurance program that has been custom designed around your nonprofit clients' exposures - and we offer competitive rates that can save your clients money. Our minimum premium is typically half the price of the competition.
One of the most common claims nonprofit associations face today are violations of the Sherman Act and Clayton Act. Whether alleged or actual, the cost to defend a standard setting or price fixing lawsuit can potentially cost millions of dollars. The Anti-Trust Allegations coverage offers protection against such suits and is a strong reason why your association clients should have a D&O program tailored to their specific exposures.
If your association clients offer certification or accreditation, the Standard Setting coverage is another good example of how our D&O program provides customized protection to associations not offered by other carriers.
These are just a few of the many advantages of having a D&O program designed specifically to fit the individual needs of your nonprofit association clients.
Association Office Package (Business Insurance)
Affinity Nonprofits ASAE-endorsed association business insurance portfolio is exclusively crafted for trade and professional associations and provides Property, General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation and Umbrella Liability. The program addresses the unique exposures of nonprofit associations, such as coverage for conferences and tradeshows and personal/advertising injury coverage, in addition to the ability to add General Liability and Umbrella coverage for association chapters.
Showstoppers® Event Cancellation Insurance
The Showstoppers® Program offers coverage tailored to your client's particular event. Event Cancellation Insurance offers coverage for the loss of revenue derived from, or expenses committed to, an event due to a cancellation, abandonment, interruption, curtailment, postponement or relocation caused by covered perils as defined in the policy. For association tradeshows, conferences, conventions and meetings, the program also offers coverage for reduced attendance due to a continued event - full cancellation of an event is not required. Common circumstances which may trigger coverage include: Adverse Weather, Venue Damage, Confiscation of Venue, Acts of Terrorism, Earthquakes and Labor Disputes.
