Contractor's General Liability Insurance

Empire State Brokerage is pleased to announce that it provides access to over 10 insurance companies that will underwrite general liability insurance for the construction industry. This includes insurance for General Contractors as well as Trade Contractors. These insurance companies will write small, medium and large construction firms as well as insurance for specific projects.

The underwriter’s have a very broad appetite for writing various types of contractors including high risk activities such a roofing and asbestos removal.  Therefore, there are very few types of risks that do not qualify.

 In addition, we can provide Owners, Contractors and Protection Liability Insurance (OCP) and Railroad Protective Liability Insurance (RPL).

Program Highlights: 
 
• General Liability insurance is available for Commercial and Residential Contractors.
• Primary coverage policy- minimum premiums begin at $ 500.00 for small accounts.
• For other size Contractors, minimum premiums vary by size of the risk.
• Limits up to $ 1 Million each claim; $ 2 Million general aggregate for primary coverage. Products and Completed Operations are included.
• Underwriter will look at less hazardous risk as well as complex, multi-exposure large accounts. No risk is too small. No risk is too large.
• No deductible; small deductible; high deductible and SIR options are available.
• New Ventures are eligible as well as Per Project policies
• Occurrence as well as Claims-Made insurance policies are available.
• Umbrella and Excess GL programs are available, if needed.
