Our stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: IHC). Through our three highly rated insurance companies, managing general underwriters, third party administrators, and marketing affiliates, we write and manage life and health insurance business through multiple distribution channels. Our specialties include small group and individual consumer driven health plans, medical stop-loss, short-term medical, dental, vision and specialized life and disability products.
IHC was formed in 1980 and some members of our senior management have been with us since day one. Others have joined more recently, with many bringing 20 or more years experience as successful leaders and entrepreneurs in the health insurance industry.
