IMI Asset Management Company is a company young in name only. It's true roots have been around for over seventeen years and is backed with a tremendous amount of insurance industry experience. Investment Management International (IMI ) was the Parent Company started in 1995 in which Karla Leonard-Davis served as CEO.
IMI Financial Services was the insurance based side of the business where Mrs. Leonard-Davis served as Asset Manager and President. She has directed the company with over thirty-one years administrative and insurance industry experience.
Karla attended the University of California, Riverside where she received her B.A.in Business Economics and a B.A. in Art History. Mrs. Leonard-Davis originally came into the insurance business in Maryland back in 1991. She relocated to the West Coast in summer of 1993 to remarry. She has two solid commitments; one to her children and the other to her businesses.
Karla has been dedicated to raising her three children - Daegan, a graduate of Duke University, and now CEO and owner of Maximum Leverage [www.maximum-leverage.com] - network marketing trainer. Ilia, was recently married, and is a graduate of Vassar College. She has been pursuing a career in the performing arts in New York City. Karla's youngest child, Joshua recently graduated, June 2012, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics and Minor in Science Management. He recently moved to Chicago and is a Trader for TransMarket Group, LLC.
With the same dedication for success which she guided her children, Karla also has a solid dedication to her company and clients to assure both succeed.
Recently she has pushed forward and now is owner and CEO of IMI Asset Management Company. With seventeen years of the industry experience, her goal is always to serve the concerns of her clients first. She comes to you to service. This solid commitment has blossomed her business with over 500 hundred committed clients over the years.
