Registered Student Organization Insurance
The registered student organization insurance program is designed for Registered Student Organizations that are formed as part of a U.S. based college or university institution. Coverage is provided for the registered student organization, including its volunteers for liability claims arising out of its operations. For those organizations reported to and approved by K&K, covered operations consist of scheduled, organized, supervised activities in which the insured registered student organization members participate, host and are directly related to the specific common interest or goal for which the organization was formed. Coverage is also provided for registrations, games, playoffs or tournaments that the insured registered student organization participates or hosts as well as meetings, parades in which the insured participates, picnics, banquets, ceremonies, and incidental fund raising activities.

RSO's are a gathering of individuals who have a passion for a particular cause, sport, recreational activity, etc. Group members meet on a regular basis to discuss information as well as promotion of social interaction. The RSO may sponsor events or attend events as a group, this would be limited to those that are approved by the institution.
