Overview — Artisan Contractors Insurance from Legends Environmental Services
Legends Environmental Services places Artisan & General Contractors Insurance through multiple admitted and non-admitted markets. We combine targeted underwriting with proactive risk transfer and marketing to give agents access to competitive coverage for both general contractors and artisan subcontractors. Our program supports new construction, repair/remodel, residential and commercial work, and condo/townhouse projects.
Ideal Accounts and Appetite
- General contractors: Home builders (custom preferred; tract builders up to 25 homes), light commercial GC work, condo and townhome projects (new construction and remodel). Sweet spot is contractors with up to $10M in annual revenue, although larger accounts can be considered.
- Subcontractors (inside the envelope): Artisan finish carpenters, plumbers, HVAC, electricians and similar trades performing interior work.
- Territory: Program is available in the states listed below (see Territories and Availability). Note: certain states and classes are restricted.
Coverage Highlights and Advantages
- Commercial general liability with contractor’s pollution liability (CPL) including mold exposure.
