Does anyone know of any carrier (outside of the pool) that will offer WC with owner included but no employees. His WC premium has been over $8000 consistently but I am still not able to find a carrier that will write it without having to go to the pool.

Try firstcomp or employers. If you can get the liability you will have a lot better chance in getting a WC quote with any carrier.

Sorry, I forgot to add the class code. The primary class code is 5213 - concrete construction. Also uses 5474 - painting / shop operations. H works only on commercial locations, making small concrete foundations or slabs and some interior painting.

If you have at least 3 years of loss runs and they are good, our standard carriers like Travelers, Hartford and Amtrust would write him.
