Although nobody going into a marriage worries about preparing for a divorce.

Fact: 40% of marriages end up in divorce.

Although marriage is supposed to be a happy "till death do us part" moment, our clients need to be prepared for alternative paths in their future. Divorce insurance can help (only financially) if something happens and the marriage ends in divorce. Although, policies state their cannot be a claim in the first four years of marriage, each year, with out a claim, the policy limits increase.

Interesting. Anyone ever present this to a client? And if so, did you sell it to one spouse or the other? Both? I bet it's an interesting conversation!

Divorce insurance? Guess the best time to bring that up would be right after discussing the prenuptial agreement.
