Shari, Do you know soft hammer v hard hammer. Duty to defend . Right to settle. Mature claims made rates? If not, do not delve into Med Mal.

Agree with Randy - given the litigation that consumes that sector of Healthcare Providers, you can find yourself in an uncomfortable position, including your Agency E&O real quick. Sometimes it's best to give good advice...in the northeast, most MedMal providers are covered through a RPG/RRGs that work directly with the insured.
