Ask Your Peers  California Business Auto for Investigation Firm with poor loss history- - need market

Hello Peers
I have a risk with 34 autos. Progressive is getting off the risk due because they have more than 20 units in their fleet plus. Their loss history is not good over the last five years at $250k. Expiring premium is $85k. Scottsdale has not yet told us if they are quoting. NICO via Pacific Gateway takes a very long time to offer any terms. The renewal date is 8/28/18. Any suggestions for a market?

Thank you,

It looks like you've hit the major players. Sometimes we can get Philadelphia to play on a loss-sensitive risk, especially if they can write other lines and if controls are being put into place. I would give them a call. If the insured is not willing to make some changes to bring down the loss ratio, you may need to look into assigned risk as an option of last resort.

Thanks
Philadelphia declined. GMI declined. Kemper Declined. BHHC Redwood Ins. declined because of filed rates limitation. I'll check with Maximums.
Any other secret markets out there is this hard auto market?
