We combine targeted underwriting with proactive risk transfer and marketing to give agents access to competitive coverage for both general contractors and artisan subcontractors. Our program supports new construction, repair/remodel, residential and commercial work, and condo/townhouse projects. Ideal Accounts and Appetite General contractors: Home builders (custom preferred; tract builders up to 25 homes), light commercial GC work, condo and townhome projects (new construction and remodel). Sweet spot is contractors with up to $10M in annual revenue, although larger accounts can be considered. Subcontractors (inside the envelope): Artisan finish carpenters, plumbers, HVAC, electricians and similar trades performing interior work. Territory: Program is available in the states listed below (see Territories and Availability). Note: certain states and classes are restricted. Coverage Highlights and Advantages Commercial general liability with contractor’s pollution liability (CPL) including mold exposure. Competitive rates through multiple markets; access to admitted and non-admitted options depending on account characteristics. Can be silent on subsidence where appropriate. Covers subcontractor work when written properly. Defense outside limits may be available for qualifying accounts.
