NIF Group, Inc. (www.nifgroup.com) is one of the largest program managers and regional wholesale broker. Based in NY with offices nationwide, NIF underwrites exclusive programs for nonprofits, social service agencies, governmental entities, and artisan contractors; as well as offering access to specialty property casualty, such as contractors, difficult products, environmental, property and management/professional liability.
Our Exclusive Programs
As a full service Program Administrator, NIF handles most of the functions which are routinely performed by an insurance company. This includes underwriting analysis, acceptance and declination of accounts, policy issuance, accounting, claims administration and sales and marketing.
Providing insurance coverage for the nonprofit and health, human & social service industry is the cornerstone of NIF Group's Program Administration. NIF has offered a stable market for this class of business throughout the US for over 35 years. Our programs are currently underwritten through several select & exclusive markets with which NIF Group has a favored relationship. NIF also offers other programs for Bowling Centers and Artisan Contractors
Products & Coverages
NIF offers a wide array of tailored commercial property and casualty products most typically packaged through our programs. Our programs are predominantly written on an admitted basis. Depending on a states filing it can also be written on an non-admitted basis. Coverages for our programs may include: commercial general liability, commercial auto, property, crime, inland marine and umbrella & excess liability. Depending on the program or class we may offer other specialty coverages such as professional liability, medical professional, non-profit D&O and abuse. We do not offer workers compensation coverage for any of our programs.
Distribution
All of NIF's insurance programs are written through licensed independent agents and brokers throughout the United States of America exclusively - with the exception of Hawaii & Louisiana. We do not write directly with the insured, loyal upholding the independent agent channel of distribution. Agents & Producers can submit accounts directly to NIF and receive quotations with no paperwork required. Only upon order to bind will a producer agreement with NIF Group be needed along with the verifying of the proper state insurance licensing and providing evidence of errors and omissions coverage. None of our programs require a premium or volume commitment from agents.
