JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES CENTER COORDINATOR

 

OBJECTIVE:

Under the direction of the sales center manager, provide sales center support in obtaining and maintaining leads and dates and positive results from our producers to meet agency's growth and profit objectives.

DUTIES:

1. Keep abreast of marketing trends and techniques.

2. Keep abreast of companies' current and new programs for possible niche marketing efforts.

3. Assist in monitoring and reporting of all sales center activity and results, and recommending changes in focus as needed.

4. Assist in administering and controlling prospecting, profiling, x-dates, and follow-up program with producers.

5. Assist in maintaining on-going lead program and contact log.

6. Schedule and coordinate appointments and sales/service activity with producers.

7. Assist in maintaining and controlling of direct-mail activity.

8. Provide producers with contact file that includes features of target program, survey forms, inspection forms, applications, and other intelligence the producer can use to competitive advantage.

9. Assist in maintaining on-going mailing list for direct-mail activity, newsletters, etc.

10. Assist in monitoring demographic changes in the city, state and region that would impact marketing efforts.

11. Work closely with commercial CSR's as the CSR/producer team coordinator.

12. Participate in seminars and classes for knowledge.

13. Perform other duties as required and assigned.

AUTHORITY:

1. Carrier contact as needed

2. Producer/CSR/prospect contact as needed or required

3. Maintenance up-to-date file of company programs, brochures, facilities for possible use.

PERFORMANCE-MEASUREMENT CRITERIA:

Criteria to measure my achievement of stated duties should include:

1. Timely completion and submission of required reports to my supervisor.

2. Adherence and compliance with stated procedures, service standards, personnel policies, and accounting practices.

3. Degree and quality of professional development.

4. Adherence to standards of performance for sales and service.

5. Smooth, efficient, and positive relationship between producers, staff, and companies.

6. Results of the sales centers efforts.

7. Production of leads and prospects sufficient to produce ongoing and above-average flow of new business into agency.
