RENEWAL PROCEDURE

DIRECT BILL

1. 60 days prior to expiration run expiration list.

2. Using mail merge capabilities of the system, generate personal lines direct bill Letter

In order for me to provide you the most comprehensive coverage at the most competitive price, I ask that you please complete the enclosed Personal Insurance Renewal Review and return it to me within 10 days.

Should you wish to review this with me in person or on the phone, I will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

4. When policy is received, review for any mistakes and order any changes dictated by the renewal review form or otherwise indicated by the customer.

5. If any changes are required, order from company and set up suspense in computer (see endorsement procedure).

  1. Input updated data into computer (make sure data is exactly the same in the computer as it is on the customer's policy).
  2. Indicate the proper processing of the renewal by crossing the item off master expiration list.
