You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do. -Henry Ford

Whether you are a Guru or a Newb, how you compare to your peers makes all the difference.  I am often asked for referrals.  Anything from recommending a good mechanic to a medical specialist, people want to go to someone they trust or whom they are recommended to.  In the insurance industry this is no exception.  We receive word of mouth referrals as part of our bread and butter.  But what about when you are looking for looking for trusted content or professional advice online. When making a quote for a client do you leave your decision making up to the “Google Gods”?  Do you know who to trust? CompleteMarkets offers its members the ability to build reputations based on a number of options.  The higher your reputation scores the better level of trust or expertise you are likely to have.  If your reputation is a 3 and a fellow competitor has a score of 1100 your customer is likely to trust the advice of the latter.

So how do I build my reputation?

At CompleteMarkets there are several ways to handle this task.

1.      Add a photo.

2.      Complete your profile.

3.      Post a discussion topic.

4.      Write a Blog.

5.      Invite people to your network.

6.      Write an Article.

As you can see it is easy to build your reputation.  It takes two minutes to put up a profile picture.  It doesn't even have to be a photo of yourself but maybe your agency’s logo.  Filling out your profile let’s prospective clients learn more about you.  Just these two additions can make the difference between someone thinking you’re active in the industry to someone who may have visited CompleteMarkets once and then left without deleting the profile.

CompleteMarkets is a community built for you.  We provide the tools, but it is up to you to use them.
