The Rule of 7 - It Works Around Here

The rule of seven is one of the oldest concepts in marketing.  We have all heard it before many times, but the reality is it works!  We see this every year with our clients.  The rule says that prospects should see your marketing message at least seven times before they will buy from you.

The important thing in the rule of seven is not the number, but the message. There are many reasons for the need of repetition. Prospects may not be ready to make the buying decision the first time you show your message.  They may not be ready to trust you until they see your message consistently.

Think about the way you make buying decisions in your own life.  How often to you buy the first time you see something?  Are you more apt to buy after you have seen or heard the message several times?  I am.

Simply put, your marketing effort should be repetitive and consistent. You cannot just run a couple of advertisements one time and expect people to buy the product. The hidden message of the rule of seven is the continuous and repetitive effort.

If you are interested in leveraging the Rule of 7 and getting your message seen consistently by the largest data base of insurance agents in the country:
